Development of Anodizing Process for Magnesium Alloys

GUO Xing-wu, DING Wen-jiang (School of Materials Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai 200030, China)  
Reviews of new development of anodizing process for magnesium alloys have been done including coloring and sealing, reaction mechanism of coating, and the distinction between magnesium and aluminum anodizing. More research was needed to improve the anodizing technology of magnesium alloys.
