Electroless Nickel Plating of Magnesium Alloys

YE Hong, SUN Zhi-fu, ZHANG Peng, LI Jun (Department of Material Science and Engineering, Chongqing Institute of Technology, Chongqing 400050, China)  
Technological process and operation conditions for electroless nickel plating of magnesium alloys were studied, as well as the structure and composition of plating were analyzed along with the thickness and microhardness were measured. Results showed that the plating had excellent adhesive strength and corrosion resistance.
