Corrosion Factors of N80 Steel in Simulated H_2S CO_2 Environment

Corrosion factors of N80 Steel were studied in simulated H2S/CO2 HPHT multiphase corrosion environment . Results showed that the general corrosion rate of steel was higher accompanied with different extent local corrosion under research range of parameters. The corrosion rate first increased and then decreased with the increase of H2S content, so did Cl- . The Corrosion rate monotonously increased with the increase of CO2 concentration, so did Ca2 + and Mg2+ . In the H2S/CO2 environment, the effect of various factors on the corrosion of N80 steel could be order from great to small as following:H2S content, Ca2+、Mg2+ content, Cl" content and CO2 content.
