Effect of Additives on Oxidation Resistance of Pre-oxided Fibre In-situ Carbonization Binderless C/C Composites

The oxidation resistance of the pre-oxided fibre m-situ carbonization binderlcss C/C compositesand other C/C composites is very poor. The crack problem can not be solved by antioxidation coating because of the different thermal expansion cofficient between coating and matrix By adding B,,C ,SiC .Si powder that provide suppres sion and self-healing effect on the C/C matrix,the effect of additives on the oxidation resistance of the composite was analysed-The results show that the additives can increase the oxidation resistance greatly when the tontent of B1C. SiC and Si powdrer is 10% ,10% ,and 5%
