Study of Fe3Al-Based Intermetallics

The present investigation is concentrated on the techniques of fabrication of Fe3Al alloys anil nnprovements of their mechanical properties through alloying processing. Series of Fe3Al based alloys with high oxidation isulphidation and erosion resistance and good combination of strength and ductility have been obtained By using the techniques gained in the present investigation different types of Fe3Al based alloys .including tubes .bars and plates have been produced. Application of the alloys has also been discussed Through several typical cases the Fe3Al based alloys exhibit great potential as high erosion resistant material used in some severe industrial environment
