Chemical Precipitation Method for Preparation of Nano TiO_2 and Its Application

ZHAO Gaiqing QIU Kehui GAO Xiaoming (Institute of Material Science and Technology ,Chengdu University of Technology ,610059)  
The chemical precipitation method has advantages over other methods such as lower cost less equipment requirements and easily controllable and scalable process. It is a promising method for large-scale preparation of nano TiO2 powder. Evaluation and analysis of main precipitation methods are made in this paper. Moreover, applications of nano TiO2 powder in several fields are described. This paper aims at combining advantages of these methods and designing a more advanced process to promote commerciabization of nano TiO2 powder and spur its application in more areas.
