Advances in Biomaterial Surface Modification for Biomolecules Immobilization Using Low-temperature Plasma

The application of plasma technology in biomolecules immobilization on the surface of biomaterial is summarized.The novel methods,such as plasma exposure,plasma polymerization,plasma etching,and their appli- cation,mechanism,influence parameters and current trends in biomaterial surface modification for biomolecules immo- bilization are introduced.
