The Recent Development on Gamma TiAl-based Alloys as Lightweight High-temperature Structural Materials

Gamma TiAl-based alloys have been considered as the most promising new lightweight high-tem- perature structural materials with great potential in both aerospace and automotive applications.The research status of gamma TiAl-based alloys is introduced briefly.The development trend,such as high-Nb alloying,composite,nanome- ter of gamma TiAl-based alloys is overviewed detailedly.
