Study on Process of Thermodynamics for Chiral Separation of Naproxen in Molecular Imprinting

A chiral stationary phase for the enantioselective separation of naproxen can be prepared by molecu- lar imprinting,in which 4-vinylpyridine(functional monomer)and trimethylol propane trimethacrylate are copolymer- ized in the presence of S-naproxen.Racemic naproxen is efficiently resolved on the molecular imprinting polymer.Fur- thermore,different functional monomers,flow rate in the mobile phase,temperature of column are investigated.The thermodynamic parameters are estimated,it is found that enantioselective separation is enthalpy controlled.
