Progress in Applications of Ligands and Complexes of 8-hydroxyquinoline Derivatives

Ligands and complexes containtng 8-hydroxyquinoline derivatives have played anmportant role in analytical chemistry. The study on organic electroluminescence(EL)with complexes of 8-hydroxyquinoline and its derivatives have been a hot research topic in recent years. In this review, the applications of the ligands and the metal complexes of 8-hydroxyquinoline in spectrophotometry and organic electroluminescent devices and the new progress are introduced.
