Non-thermal Effect during Microwave Heating at Low Temperature

The influence of the non-thermal effect of microwaves on a metallurgical reaction at low temperature is investigated in this paper. The experimental result shows that the effects of non-thermal energy transfer is more obvious at low temperature, as opposed to in the microwave-assisted reduction of chromium ore fines containing coal(COFCC).
