Synthesis and Modification of Layered Double Hydroxide and Its Application in Functional Composites

The structure and the properties of LDH are introduced,specially the typical laminated structure and the exchangeable property of ion.The synthesis of LDH is also introduced,such as co-precipitation,the exchanges of the ion and the roasting recovery method,and the characteristics of each method are compared.The LDH could have good compatibility with the polymer after organic modification.The research progress of the functional material or the nanocomposites,which are prepared by the composite of LDH and polymer material,is summarized mainly in order to contribute to the further research on the LDH and its nanocomposites.
