Preparation and Magnetic Property Research of La Doped NiCuZn Ferrite Using Solid-Molten Salt Method

La doped nanosize NiCuZn ferrites (Ni0.17Cu0.2Zn0.62La2xFe2.02-2xO4.02) are prepared by the solid-molten salt method using NaCl as molten salt material. The properties of samples are charaterized by XRD,SEM and VSM techniques. It is found that the single phase with cubic spinel structure of ferrite only can be obtained when x≤0.02,and a few amount of La2O3 can be found when x0.02.The Curie temperature (Tc) decreases with the proper La doping amount. Magnetic hysteresis loops measured by VSM found that σS and coercive force of low temperature are bigger than those at room temperature.
