Colloidal Crystal Templating Methods to Fabricate Three-dimensionally Ordered Macroporous Materials

Three-dimensionally ordered macroporous materials are successfully synthesized through using latex sphere colloid crystals as template.This paper reviews the strategies for the synthesis of 3DOM by colloidal crystal templating method.The method mainly involves several steps,including fabrication of template from monodispersed colloidal sphere,assembly of colloidal crystal templating,deposition of desired precursor inside the templateand removal of the template.
