Research Advances in High Energy Composite Solid Propellant

The tendency of high energy has always been the research hot spot for composite solid propellant. In this paper,the main research process of oxidizer,metal combustion agent and energic binder at home and abroad are reviewed. Nowadays,the internal research focuses on the improvement in properties of oxidizer and metal combustion agent by advanced technologies. The appearance of new type energetic materials,such as super high energy density materials(polynitrogen and polycyanocubanes),metal combustion agent containing hydrogen(aluminum hydride) and new energic binder point out the orientation of the next generation composite solid propellant.
