Different Molten Salts(Liquid LiNO_3 and Solid NaCl) on the Preparation of Nano Magnesia

Nano magnesium hydroxide is firstly prepared by chemical precipitation method,and then is mixed with two different molten salts(liquid LiNO_3 and solid NaCl ) to calcine for preparing nano magnesia.It shows that the two different molten salts play different roles in the preparation of nano magnesia.Compared with the solid molten salt NaCl,more nano magnesia can be prepared with the liquid molten salt LiNO_3 while the dispersion of the products is also better.In addition,the reasons causing the distinct properties when two different molten salts are used to assist calcine magnesium hydroxide are also discussed in details.
