Study of Hardness for Annealing State and Electrochemical Properties of Multi-component AlFeCoNiCrV Alloy

The annealed microstructure transformation and annealed hardness of AlFeCoNiCrV alloy at different temperatures are studied by using XRD,SEM,DSC and Rochwell apparatus.The results show that,by increasing the annealing temperature,the single bcc phases transforms to bcc+fcc phase.The hardness of the alloy can keep 48.OHRC when the annealing temperature is up to 1000℃,the alloy exhibits extreme tempering resistance and possesses application value under high temperature condition.Simultaneously,the electrochemical corrosion of the alloy ascast and as-annealed in 0.5mol/L H_2SO_4 solution and Imol/L NaCl solution are examined by anodic polarization.The polarization curves show that the alloy has lower corrosion rate than 304 stainless-steel in 0.5mol/L H_2SO_4 solutioa In 1mol/L NaCl solution,the corrosion rate of the alloy is inferior to 304 stainless-steel,but their pitting corrosion resistance is better than 304 stainless-steel.
