Adjustment of Surface Properties for Functional Graphene Sheets

Single-layer functional graphene sheets were prepared via thermal exfoliation of graphite oxide(GO) in high vacuum enviorment.The as-prepared graphene sheets were further annealed under different temperature,and a series of graphene samples with different carbonization rate were thus obtained.The graphene materials,with diffe-rent surface functionalities,were characterized by transmission electron microscope,X-ray diffraction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.The results indicate that the types and amounts of oxygen-containing species on the surface of graphene were decreased with the temperature of thermal reduction increased.
