The experiment analysis and finite-element simulation on stability of complex sheet metal part drawing

The fracture is the primary drawback to the stability of production in the drawing of car water channel. A grids method is adopted to analyse the deformation character, deformation path, deformation degree and safety margin in dangerous area which is determined by finite-element simulation and experiment. The magnitude of safety margin and the stability of production are greatly increased by optimizing the height of draw-bead and the shape of sheet metal.
