A Rigid-plastic FEM Analysis of the Plastic Flow Field of Backward Spining

In this paper, a rigid-plastic FEM modelling of backward spinning is put forward. The velocity fields are compared under the conditions that backward spinning is simplified as forward plate cxtrusion and as the modelling in this paper. The velocity field of backward spinning obtained by rigid --plastic FEM is agreeable with the actual technological conditions.
