Study of Light Mg-Li Matrix Composite

Mg-Li matrix composite possesses high strength to density ratio and stiffness to ratio. They are one of the ideal structural materials in aeronautics and defense industries. This paper reviewed the composite matrix and reinforcements and the fabricating technique and the microstructure and the properties of Mg-Li matrix composite. At present,the existing problems,the ways to solve them were also discussed.
