Effects of MoO_3 Addition on High Permeability NiCuZn Ferrite

To get NiCuZn ferrite with high initial permeability and high Curie temperature,we examined the effect of added MoO -3 on the microstructure and magnetic properties of NiCuZn ferrite.It was found that a small quantity of MoO -3 addition could expand the diameters of crystalline grains,improve uniformity and initial permeability,whereas the Curie temperature declined a little.When excessive MoO -3 added,porosity and core losses increased,the initial permeability decreased.With 0 ^12wt% MoO -3 addition in(Ni - {0 ^28 }Cu - {0 ^1 }Zno - {0 ^62 })Fe - {2 ^04 }O -4,the initial permeability could reach 2650 with Curie temperature upon 105℃.
