Studies on the Preparation and Adsorption as Precursor for Nitrogen Oxides of Diatomic Metal Hydrotalcite-like Compounds

Some diatomic metal hydrotalcite-like compounds were synthesized by co-precipitation and characterized by XRD and IR. The adsorption capacity of the sample after calcination at 500℃ for nitrogen oxides was measured. The results showed that the samples had typical layer hydrotalcite structure. The MAl-HTlcs(M=Cu, Mg, Zn, Co, Ni) and ZnM-HTlcs(M=Fe, Cr) were suitable adsorbents for NOx , and the adsorption capacity and rate of ZnAl-HTlc(Zn/Al molar ratio of 3) for NOx were maximal, and the static saturation adsorption capacity was 1851mg/g .
