Study on Structure Characterization and Properties of Polypropylene Based Alkali Anion Exchange Fiber

Alkali anion-exchange fibers were prepared by the grafting copolymerization of styrene(St) and divinylbenzene(DVB) onto polypropylene(PP) fiber induced by()~(60)Co γ co-irradiation and chloromethylation reaction and amination reaction.IR,XRD,SEM and determinations of titration curve,absorption dynamics,mechanical strength,swelling property,and chemical stability were used to characterize the structure and appearance of polypropylene anion exchange fibers.The results show that the anion ion-exchange fiber had a high exchange capacity,quick adsorption and desorption velocity,finer mechanical capability and chemical stability.It's a kind of materials with excellent properties.
