Adsorption of Cu~(2+) by Bacterial Cellulose

Bacterial cellulose as new sorbent for removing Cu~(2+) was investigated.The effects of performance parameters such as pH,adsorption time,mass concentration of adsorbent and mass concentration of metal ions were analyzed.The results show that the adsorption rate could be well fitted by pseudo-second-order rate model,and adsorption isothem could be described by the Langmuir model.
