The Effect of Fiscal Expenditure on Hunan's Regional Economic Convergence

LIU Wan-chen,XIA Xi-jun,LIU Ya-li (College of Accounting;Hunan University;Changsha,Hunan 410079,China)  
Using the convergence model of neo-classical economics,this paper examines the convergence effect of fiscal expenditure from 1994 to 2008 in Hunan.The result shows that the total financial expenditure promotes the convergence of the economy;education spending,agricultural production expenses,capital expenditures.Besides,administrative costs also have promoted economic convergence.
