DEVELOPMENTAL EXPERIMENT ON LOCAL NEGATIVE PRIMING OF INHIBITION IN SELECTIVE ATTENTION

Local negative priming means a type of inhibition that the subject shows when the prior distractor become the subsequent target .2×4 multifactor experiment was designed to examine the developmental trend of the location and spatial inhibition of the pupils, the junior high school students, the undergraduates and the old people. The results show that the four groups of the subjects are all found the significant negative priming of location, which account for that the cognitive aging does not affect the inhibition of location.
