Recrystallization Kinetics of Ta-Ti Alloy

Zhou Wei, Chen Jun, Zhao Yongqing, Qu Henglei, Feng Liang, Guo Dizi (Northwest Institute for Nonferrous Metal Research, Xi'an 710016, China)  
The recrystallization behaviours of Ta-Ti alloy wires with various deformation degrees were studied. The recrystallization annealing treatments for the as-deformated samples were carried, and the recrystallization activation energy Q was calculated through the formula of Arrhenius equation. The results show that the recrystallization rate of Ta-Ti alloy increased with the increase of deformation degree, which is attributed to the decrease of recrystallization activation energy (Q).
