Study on the YAG:Ce~(3+)Phosphor Particles Prepared by Low Temperature Combustion

YAG:Ce3+ phosphor particles was prepared by low temperature combustion-heat treatment,process with Al(NO3)·9H2O,Y(NO3)·6H2O and Ce(NO3)3·6H2O as oxidant and urea as reducing agent.Influences of preparation processes on phase composition,excitation spectra,emission spectra and relative brightness of luminescence were studied with XRD,SEM,particle size analyzer and fluorescence spectrometer.When x=0.06 in formula Y3-xCexAl5O1 and ignition temperature of 650 'C,after calcinations at 1050 ℃ for 2 h in CO reducing atmosphere,photoluminescence powders of YAG:Ce3+ with signal YAG phase were achieved,which can be excited by blue light with wavelength of 468 nm,and emit yellow light with wavelength of 525 nm.
