Progress in Titanium Alloy Foam

Metal foam is a kind of new functional developing material in recent years,which has a lot of excellent performances.Titanium has excellent physical properties and mechanical properties;therefore,titanium foam become a research hotspot that concentrates foam superior functionality and performance of titanium alloys in recent years.In this paper,preparation methods of the titanium alloy foam,mechanical properties as well as applications in the military and daily life are introduced,and titanium foam materials and titanium aluminum foam alloy application are forecast.
