Preparation of Nanometer NiCr_2O_4 and Its Catalytic Action

Nano-NiCr_2O_4 was prepared by a sol-gel method using Cr(NO_3)_3 and Ni(NO_3)_2 as the reactant.The micro structure of nano-NiCr_2O_4 was determined with XRD and SEM.The effects of the nano-NiCr_2O_4 on the thermal decomposition reaction of CL-20 or AP were studied by TG-DTG techniques.The results show that the addition of ano-NiCr_2O_4 makes the thermal decomposition peak temperature of CL-20 shift 10.1 K downward,and AP shift 24.9 K downward.The addition of nano-NiCr_2O_4 decreases the E value of the exothermic decomposition processes of CL-20 from 255.5 to 232.8 kJ/mol,and AP from 224.8 to 130.8 kJ/mol.
