Study on Improving the Treatment Capability of Activated Sludge with Suspended Media

Because the microbe could be increased and the sludge load could be decreased by putting media into the aeration tanks,the treatment ability and effect of aeration tanks could be improved and reduce the absolute value of water quality in effluent.The process could also improve the settling properties of activated sludge.The suspended media used in our research can improve greatly oxygenation capacity of aeration devices.The medium,which is easy to fluidize and grow biofilm under normal aeration intensity,and convient to put and change the number,is a superior kind of medium.
