Calculation Model Study on the Spatial Ultimate Load-Carrying State of CFST Arches with one Rib Based on ANSYS Analysis

Combining with the existing CFST constitutive model,this paper analyzed and discussed the spatial ultimate load-carrying state of two tested CFST(single tube)arches with one rib by dual nonlinear finite element analysis,simulated the ultimate load-carrying state of model arches by a compara- tive study on model arches with unified theory,separate theory and fiber element theory,which based on ANSYS analysis with odd and even element methods,evaluated several preferable core concrete's constitutive relations,then proposed the suggestion for selection of the basic theories,basic meth- ods and constitutive relations for ANSYS precise simulation of CFST arches.The results fit well with the test results,which justified this model and could provide guidance for calculation of CFST arches with circular hollow section.
