Reliability Analysis on Landslide Improvement Design of Accumulation Horizon in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area

Considering the variability of shear strength parameters of the slip soil, the reability analysis method for landslide improvement design of accumulation horizon in the Three Gorges Reservoir area are established. With a case study, the impacts of the probability distribution of shear strength parameters on the reliability index of slope stability are analyzed. Based on 50 cases in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, the target reliability index of the accumulation horizon are studied with calibration method, and some preliminary conclusions are obtained.
