Comparative Study of Gas Well Dynamic Reserves Determination Methods

This article summarizes six easy-quick methods for the calculation of gas well dynamic reserves,such as flow material balance method,hydraulic successive subtraction method,production accumulation method,gas production curve method,Rogerstig function method and influence function method.Furthermore,this paper has briefly analyzed the practicable conditions of those methods mentioned above.Example analysis results show that those methods mentioned in this paper are generally practical.However,limitations the degree of reserve recovery has on these methods,flow material balance method,hydraulic successive subtraction method,gas production curve method and influence function method,are relatively less.
