Mobile Market Platform Management Based on the Long Tail Effect

Aiming at the mobile market introduced by China Mobile,the industrial chain of mobile market is built.Based on the long tail theory,this paper discusses the value that exerts the long tail effect for mobile market and the problems that it may bring to the management of mobile operators.These problems are the management of platform,including the management of developer,the user's choice of platform application and the openness of platform;the management of application programme of platform distribution,including the management on content,quality and copyright of application programme.At last,the paper proposes the suggestions for mobile operators based on the successful experience of platform management and the expert's advice.
