Parallel Optimal Power Flow Algorithm Based on Auxiliary Problem Principle and Sequential Quadratic Programming Method

To solve the difficulties caused by the centralized optimal power flow algorithm,uhe decomposition-coordination model based on subarea division is proposed,and the auxiliary problem principle isused in parallel processing.The optimal power flow problem of the whole system can be decomposed into several parallel flow optimizations of sub systems.In every subarea system,the sequential quadratic programming algorithm is used to solve the optimization problem of the subarea system.The subarea division based on optimization accords with the needs of power market development.The simulation shows that this algorithmis is fast and has a good convergence property.
