Study on large-scale grid load modeling based on wide-area measurement system

Because the load characteristics measurement based traditional large-scale grid load modeling methods exist some problems and the current wide-area measurement system(WAMS) can't guarantee all the bus observable,this paper presents a WAMS based load modeling method by local measurements and pseudo-measurements of PMUs'.By supposing the generator models and the transmission line models are relatively accurate,the proposed method can obtain the load models which are adaptive by using the time domain simulation and evolutionary algorithm.Finally,the simulation results have demonstrated that the proposed load modeling method can provide relatively high precision load models in digital simulations and also prove the validity and feasibility of the method.
