Testing platform of wide area protection and control system based on RTDS

With the high frequent occurrence of large scale blackouts and the development of smart grids,wide-area protection and control system(WPCS) with synchrophasors becomes a research focus.How to verify the algorithm of WPCS and how to ensure the system reliability become an important subject,which is a difficult problem to deal with.An universal testing scheme for WPCS is presented in this paper,and the key technology about how to establish the dynamic scheme is implemented.The dynamic test system has realized a typical WPCS,and provides necessary program interface.It just needs to reconfigure the programs and the conjunctive relations of master station and sub-stations before testing the new WPCS.
