Electrified Measurement of Mutual Inductance for Multicircuit Non-Coterminous H-V Transmission Lines

A new method of mutual-inductance measurement for multicircut non-coterminous H-V transmission lines (MNTL) is presented .This method is able to synchronize the samplings of voltage phasor measurement at an accuracy within 1 usec at two or more remote substation,by means of the global positioning system (GPS),which solve the simultaneous problem of mutual-inductance measurement for MNTL.The mutual-inductance algorithm is deduced and the main components of measurement system is introduced in this paper.This system has been put into practical use in measurement of a 220 kV power network near Wuhan,Hubei prvince,China .
