Comparison on Application of Complex Frequency Conductance(CFC) Method and Transient Electromagnetic Method(TEM) in a Tunnel

The complex frequency conductance(CFC) method and the transient electromagnetic method(TEM) are the advanced water exploration technologies of tunnel more advanced in China now. Taking the application of CFC and TEM in a railway tunnel in China as an example, the principles of CFC and TEM are briefly described. And the comparison is carried out according to the practical conditions of excavation. The experimental comparison shows that the anti-interference capability of CFC water exploration technology is stronger, and its forecast result of water exploration is more accurate, especially in the electromagnetic environment complex tunnel.
