A Preliminary study of Learning Motivation of College Students

DENG Hui-peng (Politics and Law Department,Changsha University,Changsha 410003,China)  
The motivation of surface layer type of college students tends to rise with grade while the motivation of deep layer type of college students tends to decrease.This two kinds of motivation varies according to the students' specialities but not according to their sexes,the achievement motivation is disrelated to specialities and sexes. But the differnce between grades, specialities and sexes exists and infleuences each other. The relationship between motivation and learning strategy is positive.
