Synthesis and Evaluation of Magnetic Molecularly Imprinted Polymer Microspheres of Chlorogenic Acid

Magnetic imprinting polymer microspheres(MIPs) were prepared via multiple emulsions suspension polymerization, using Fe_3O_4,chlorogenic acid,methacrylic acid(MAA) and trimethylolpropane triacrylate(TRIM) as magnetic component,template molecule,functional monomer and cross-linker,respectively.The shape and size, composition and magnetic susceptibility were characterized.Static equilibrium adsorption study shpwed that MIPs had a better specific absorption property for CGA.Scatchard analysis further showed that two different adsorption sites existed in MIPs.
