The Dynamic Analysis of Bridge under Moving Vehicles

In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of the bridge-vehicle interaction is studied. Vehicle loads are represented as moving forces, moving masses, or moving multi-degree-of-freedom bodies. The various stiffness and damping characteristics of vehicles are taken into account in the multi-(degree)-of-(freedom) models. Numerical results are presented for calculating the effects of the moving velocity and the span on the impact coefficient of bridge.
