Study on Rational of Determination Joining Temperature of PC Continuous Rigid Frame Bridge and Their Resolutions

Based on a long-span PC continuous rigid frame bridge across Xiangjiang River during its construction,the internal forces in the structure of this type bridge caused by different joining temperature were analyzed,It is concluded that the internal forces caused by different joining temperature have important effects on the controlling sections of the bridge piers and piles,and a lower joining temperature is significant in bridge design.When Baishui Bridge is closed at high temperature,a reasonable measurement applied to jacking counterforce has been put forward to ensure the bridge closed successfully in the higher air temperature.
