Analysis of Vibration Characteristics of Larger Steel Truss Bridge

Using the finite truss-element method and taking each truss length as an element where there are ten degrees of freedom in each node cross section of truss element we have analysed the vibration characteristics of a certain larger steel truss bridge in China.In this article a detailed study is made on the effect of installing cross join system upon the dynamic characteristics of steel bridge The result obtained can beused used for reference in designing new structure
