A Contrastive Study of Direct Tensile Strength and Splitting Tension Strength of High Performance Concrete

YIN Jian,ZHOU Shi qiong (Civil Architectural Engineering College,Central South University,Changsha 410075,China)  
The contrastive experiments in this paper between Direct Tensile Strength(DTS) and Splitting Tension Strength(STS) of C70~C100 High Performance Concrete (HPC) show the tensile performance of HPC has been greatly improved and the brittleness of HPC has been reduced to a certain degree.The results also show that DTS,STS and the compressive strength are closely related.
