Research on the Influence of Wheel Pressures on the Ultimate Load of Railway Steel Plate Girders

This paper analyses local load on railway steel plate giders in the action of wheel pressures with finite element method and then studied the influence of local load on the ultimate state of steel plate girders according to elastic theory, and offers proposals for the design of railway steel plate girders.
