Problem of railway traffic induced vibrations of environments

With the development of social economy and the raise of people's living quality, the problem of environment vibrations has been more and more noticed. The researches of railway traffic induced environmental vibrations in China and abroad are summarized. The influences of vibrations on people's working and living, the generation and propagation characteristics of vibrations, and the basic laws of ground, underground and viaduct railway traffic induced ground vibrations and their influences on surrounding buildings are analyzed.
