Statistical analysis of impact properties on a fiber-reinforced concrete

The initial cracking strength and ultimate fracture strength of steel-polypropylene hybrid fiber-reinforced concrete(SPHFRC) and steel fiber-reinforced concrete(FRC) were studied statistically.The average value of the initial cracking strength and ultimate fracture strength of SPHFRC were larger than those of FRC.The coefficients of variation of both specimens were far larger than 15%.Data from the experiments were not well satisfied with normal distribution.In order to control the errors caused by small quantity of specimens,it is necessary to assure the least of specimens.
